BBC in deal with Middle East news channel

BBC chiefs have signed a deal to work with al-Jazeera, the broadcaster which has become renowned for its access to terror network al-Qaida.

The Middle East news channel – based in Qatar – will exchange material with the corporation under the newsgathering deal.
