Narrow escape for J-Lo and Ben

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck had a lucky escape when two cars crashed in the street where they were filming.

The head-on smash happened just yards from the couple who were sitting in a blue convertible car.

The Los Angeles road was supposed to have been sealed off by police but they were letting traffic through between takes, reports the Daily Express.

Filming was halted for several hours while the wreckage was cleared and the two drivers were taken to hospital.

The stars were filming scenes for their new gangster film Gigli.
