Scorcese voices misgivings over Iraq war
Gangs Of New York director Martin Scorsese today became the latest US personality to voice misgivings about a possible war with Iraq.
Scorsese said many Americans were cynical about President George Bush’s true motives.
"There’s a danger of America going to war and I do not believe that everyone in America feels the same way," the director said.
"One hopes that this kind of war can be done diplomatically, with intelligence rather than wiping out a lot of innocent civilians."
