Oasis tour resumes after Liam's broken teeth fixed

The Oasis UK tour is to go ahead as planned after Liam Gallagher's extensive dental work to replace his broken teeth proved successful.

The star had two of his front teeth knocked out in a Munich nightclub scuffle during the band's German tour last weekend.

It meant the group cut short that part of the tour, cancelling concerts and there were worries they would pull out of the UK tour, which starts in Cardiff tomorrow.

But an Oasis spokesman told the band's official website that two days of "extensive" dental work had been successful.

The spokesman added: "Liam's broken teeth have been successfully replaced and he is able to sing without a problem.

"The Oasis UK tour will therefore be going ahead as planned starting this Sunday."

Last weekend's nightclub scuffle led to Liam and four of the band's entourage being arrested. They were later released without charge.

Liam returned to the UK for treatment after it was realised the damage to his teeth was worse than first appeared.

Oasis kicked off their European leg of their world tour last month and are due to play in the UK this month.
