Columbus works his magic on Harry

Harry Potter’s magic has begun to lose its grip on director Chris Columbus.

After more than three years in charge of the blockbuster franchise, making Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone and the eagerly awaited sequel, the 44-year-old film-maker from Pennsylvania is handing over the directorial reins to Mexican director Alfonso Cuaron.
