Harry Potter author holds castle ball

Harry Potter author JK Rowling is tonight hosting a lavish Halloween ball at Stirling Castle compered by satirist Ian Hislop.

The castle was being transformed for a spooky Celtic banquet with fire-eaters, pipers and burning torches for the charity fund-raising bash.
