Samantha Mumba set for new movie role

Samantha Mumba is flying out to the US to meet with Hollywood directors to decide on her new film project.

The singer starred in The Time Machine alongside Guy Pearce earlier this year.

She says she's been inundated with film offers since, including playing the role of a leprechaun.

She said: "It's been very very varied - I've got loads of sci-fi stuff, I've got loads of horror, I've got comedy and romance. I got a really random one where I played a little leprechaun. I mean it's so ridiculous.

"Needless to say I won't be choosing the leprechaun role."
