Plans afoot for Gladiator sequel

DreamWorks Pictures and Universal Pictures are working on a sequel to Gladiator, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The movie, which was directed by Ridley Scott and starred Russell Crowe, won the best picture Oscar in 2001.
