Flanagan gets through tough times with the Sisterhood

Terror was foremost in the mind of acclaimed Irish actress Fionnula Flanagan when it came to her role in The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood...for a start she had to perfect a Southern States accent and the film is based on a best-selling novel, which she hadn't at the time read.

Flanagan plays Teensy in the movie. Teensy hangs out with a group of gals who get involved in a kidnapping - for what they reckon are very valid reasons - in what has been dubbed the ultimate chick flick.
