Nasty Simon Cowell signs new US deal

Simon Cowell's love-hate relationship with US audiences is to be extended after he signed on for a new entertainment show.

The 42-year old record executive and ruthless Pop Idol judge will be appearing on the American Extra show twice a week. He will host a segment called The World According To Simon.
