A lawsuit brought by Jennifer Aniston against two magazines will go to trial next month.

A lawsuit brought by Jennifer Aniston against two magazines will go to trial next month.

Aniston is suing American magazines Celebrity Skin and High Society after they published photos of her sunbathing topless in 1999.

She claims a 'stalkerazzi' with a telephoto lens scaled a neighbour's wall to take photos of her "reclining topless in her backyard, wearing only her panties".

Aniston says descriptions of the photographs that said she was in the 'raw' and 'raunchy' were "highly offensive and objectionable".

The defendants argue the photo was newsworthy.

The trial is due to begin on July 2.
