Kylie and Sophie go head to head

Sophie Ellis-Bextor is on course for a chart showdown with one of her childhood idols.

Her new single is out on the same day as Kylie Minogue's latest release.

Sophie's Get Over You and Kylie's Love At First Sight are both released on June 10.

Sophie told the Sunday Mirror: "I remember singing Kylie songs into my hairbrush when I was about eight-years-old.

"Never in a million years did I think I'd be releasing a song on the same day as her."
