Filming on Sex And The City halted following star's pregnancy
Filming on Sex And The City has been suspended following the news that Sarah Jessica Parker is pregnant.
Producers say they have temporarily halted production in order to "evaluate its production schedule."
HBO, which broadcasts the show in America, has also postponed the start of the new series from June to July.
There's no word yet on whether Parker's character, Carrie Bradshaw, will end up going through a pregnancy of her own in the series.
Producers say they hope to begin filming again in three to four weeks.
Parker, who is married to Matthew Broderick, is due to give birth in the autumn.
