Britney may return to studies
Britney Spears says she is considering a return to education.
The 20-year-old singer left school at nine and was taught at home by her parents as she appeared on American television and began a recording career.
But she has told the a New York newspaper she may explore higher education options after her first film is released.
Crossroads, which stars Spears as a top student who goes on a trip across America with her friends, is due to be released in the US later this month and in Britain at the end of March.
Asked if she might go to university, Spears said: "It's funny you should ask that, because I've really, really been thinking about doing that.
"I thought, maybe when I finished this movie, I could explore it."
But she also said she would like to appear in more films, and has already secured a cameo role as herself in the next Austin Powers film.
