Google App to receive personalised links feed

The Google search app for iOS and Android devices will receive a new and improved feed feature in the coming weeks, one that is personalised to reflect the user’s interest in news, sports, hobbies and other topics.

As revealed in a blog post from Google, the new feed is named Google Feed and will suggest links to articles, videos, webpages and more based on the user’s search history in addition to data provided from other Google services such as Gmail and YouTube.

Speaking about Google Feed, the company said:

‘And now, your feed will not only be based on your interactions with Google, but also factor in what’s trending in your area and around the world. The more you use Google, the better your feed will be.’
