Google testing Android 'panic button'
Google’s Android 7.1 operating system features a ‘panic button’ that enables users to immediately shut down and exit out of any app, according to a new report from Bleeping Computer.
The ‘panic button’ feature is envisioned as a means to prevent infected apps from spreading malware and the report says it will be accessed by pressing their device’s ‘back’ button four times in quick succession, which will close all apps and return the user to the home screen.
