Microsoft snaps up Hexadite
It is never a dull day in the world of cyber security. Following on the rumours of the new NGO proposed by Microsoft they have acquired a leading Israeli cyber security company Hexadite. Hexadite has offices in both Israel and the US and the purchase price is rumoured to be $100 million.
Microsoft currently spends $1 billion annually on cyber security so this is not that surprising an acquisition. Hexadite reduces the time it takes to resolve cyber incidents by 95% they claim, as they orchestrate and automate incident responses
