Facebook reaches 1.94 billion monthly users

The number of people using Facebook has increased by 17 percent from 1.28 billion users in March to 1.94 users in April, as revealed by Facebook in a press release for the company’s First Quarter 2017 Results.

Facebook also reported a profit of $3.06 billion on $8.03 billion revenue for the first three months of the year, which works out as increases of 76 percent and 49 percent respectively compared to the first three months of last year.
