Google introduces 'Similar Items' feature

Google recently introduced a new feature for Google Image Search: Similar Items.

As revealed in a post on the Google Webmaster Central Blog, the new Similar Items feature is designed to assist users in searching for desired products found in images on Google Image Search.

The feature uses machine vision technology to identify products in lifestyle images and locates matching products the user can purchase.
