Samsung's foldable phone may launch before Note8

A new report from GSMArena suggests Samsung’s long-rumoured foldable smartphone may be launched before the Galaxy Note8.

Referring to a Chinese tipster renowned for their inside information, the report states that the Galaxy X, the foldable device’s alleged name, will launch in Q3 2017 while the Galaxy Note8 will launch in Q4.

Samsung’s most recent launch was of course the Galaxy S8, which was revealed at special events in New York and London on March 30.
