Samsung to resell fire prone Note 7
South Korean tech giant Samsung announced yesterday its intentions to sell refurbished Samsung Galaxy Note 7 devices in an effort to ‘minimise any environmental impact’ that may have arisen as a result of the smartphones faulty nature, as noted in an article from Reuters.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has been dogged by controversy since its release in August of last year.
Defective batteries cause a large number of Note 7s to overheat and catch on fire, and Samsung halted all sales of the device back in October.
Samsung is expected to start selling refurbished Note 7 models in South Korea by July or August, but the company did not reveal when other markets will see the return of the Note 7.
