Sully trailer - Tom Hanks and Clint Eastwood land a plane on the Hudson
On the 15th of January 2009 an Airbus A320 aircraft took off from LaGuardian in New York. Minutes into the flight the engines were compromised by a flock of birds and it was time for a decision - try to get back the airport or attempt something more drastic. And that was when Captain Chesley Sullenberger decided on a forced water landing, saving all 155 people on board.
It's an amazing story and 'Sully' was rightly dubbed a hero in the aftermath. Now a film starring Tom Hanks and directed by Clint Eastwood is going to delve into another side of the story.
