Cities: Skylines has received a free Match Day DLC that will allow players to build major stadiums in their cities.

Not only will they be able to build the stadium, but they’ll be able to customise the local team’s colours and enact stadium-related policies. You’ll also be kept abreast of the season, as you’ll have to plan around increased traffic.

Of course, having a stadium in your city will lead to increased income thanks to ticket revenue too, which you can then reinvest in your city.

Finally, developer Colossal Order and publisher Paradox has released a new patch that unlocks the five custom in-game items – the Carousel, Dog Park, Bouncy Castle, Basketball Court, and Botanical Garden – that were only available to those who pre-ordered.
