Instagram allows uploads without opening app

Instagram has released a new update for its iOS app, which allows users to upload photos without opening the app.

Once you update your app, you can share photos and videos from apps like Photos, Google Photos and Reddit. All you need to do is select the photo, hit the share option, and select Instagram.

Then you can add a caption and share the photo without opening Instagram. However, if you want to tag people, you'll have to use the app. So your days of using Instagram may not be coming to an end just yet.
