We’re exactly 70 days without a government and there were expectations that would come to an end today with a Dáil debate on a Taoiseach nomination vote.

However, there’s been a hitch with certain members of the Independent Alliance missing from the chambers, delaying the vote for Taoiseach and possibly compromising Kenny’s numbers.
