Gears of War 4's beta key distribution plan revealed

The Gears of War 4 beta will get underway on April 18th for those who played Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. Those who were first to play Ultimate Edition will be the first invited to play the upcoming Gears of War instalment.

Beta keys are to be sent out to Ultimate Edition players in chronological order, so the earlier you played Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, the earlier you'll get your hands on a key for Gears 4.

Keys will go out from April 18th and everyone should have their codes by April 21st. Meanwhile, the beta will open up to all Xbox Live Gold members on April 25th.
