That's because author J.K. Rowling has conjured up a new film which will introduce a different story in the same universe, and this is just the beginning of a proposed trilogy. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is all about Newt Skamander, a wizard who comes to New York in the 1920s with case full of strange and wonderful creatures. And somehow a few of them escape...
Here's the latest magical trailer, featuring a whole lot more of one Colin Farrell.
We're getting a little more of an idea of the story now, with Eddie Redmayne front and centre and seemingly under investigation by Farrell, who might be some kind of magical cop. There are some nice touches here, like the muggle proof suitcase, and finally a little claw or two to suggest what might be hidden in its depths - those early shots looked oddly empty of effects.
The impressive cast also includes Ezra Miller, Ron Perlman, Jon Voight, Samantha Morton, Katherine Waterston and Gemma Chan and this is also the first feature film script by author J.K. Rowling. It's an important franchise for the studio and everyone involved as they don't want to tarnish what people loved about the books, but its also going to be interesting to see what they do with a story featuring adults rather than kids. David Yates is directing - safe hands as he already took on the last four Harry Potter's. He's busy of late, with a major new adaptation of Tarzan also due out in 2016.
