Apple releases new iOS 9.3 build for older devices

Apple has released a new build of iOS 9.3 after reports emerged that older devices were being bricked.

The previous update caused issues for people who forgot or mistyped their Apple ID password. They couldn't retry, which caused an activation loop, and ultimately bricked their device. The iPhone 5s, the iPad Air and anything older than these were affected by the bug.

This new build doesn't require users to enter a password. The build, which is titled 13E236, is available now from iTunes and over the air.
