New Apple MacBooks could be coming this year

Apple has a lot of new products coming out these days, with the recent annoucement of the iPhone SE and iPad Pro 9.7 inch tablet. There will be at least two new iPhones in September and possibly a refresh of the Apple Watch on the way.

The latest news suggests that there could be even more incoming hardware from the tech giant, in the form of a couple of new MacBook models. 13-inch and 15-inch versions are being mooted, which would be similar in design to the 12-inch MacBook whcih launched last year. At the moment the information is little more than a rumour but there's reason to suspect Apple will keep refreshing their lines regularly, and that the new models could house a single USB-C port.

Ultra thin notebooks are said to be on the rise again in 2016, with major manufacturers competing for sheer portability and thinness, as well as the always important battery life. Apple will be at the forefront of that group, but they'll also face stiffer competition than ever before.
