Pre-orders open for £2000 gold-plated Galaxy S7

If Samsung's Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge weren't quite eye-catching enough for you, perhaps you'd be more tempted by gold- and platinum-plated models.

Truly Exquisite is now taking pre-orders for the devices, which will set you back a little over £2,000. The 24K gold Galaxy S7 goes for £2,040; the 18K rose gold model costs £2,160; and the platinum variant will set you back £2,100. The Galaxy S7 Edge is a little pricier at £2,100, £2,200, and £2,280 respectively.

However, these luxury devices do come with a Gear VR headset, as well as a wireless charging plate, and a special wooden storage box.
