My girlfriend thinks I am faking orgasms

I am a male, aged 38, and I often have dry orgasms. My girlfriend thinks I’m faking it, which I’m not — I just don’t ejaculate. Is this normal? What happens when we want to have children?

There is very little consensus on the incidence of retrograde ejaculation (that’s the technical term for what you are experiencing), but it is significantly less common than premature ejaculation.

It isn’t necessarily harmful, but it can affect your ability to make a woman pregnant, so if this is a serious relationship and you might, at some stage, want to start a family with your girlfriend, you need to discuss what I tell you with her, and then make an appointment with your GP.
