VIDEO: These Japanese chefs have superhuman skills and speed

This video of two Japanese chefs making mochi is insane - they’re moving at superhuman speed.

Mochi is a type of Japanese cake made with a type of gloopy rice. The rice is pounded into an elastic paste which is flavoured - it can be sweet or savoury - and then molded into shape.

While now it is usually made by machine, this demonstration of how to make it by hand is something else. Keep an eye out for the guy seasoning the mochi with his left hand while also keeping the frenetic kneading rhythm going.
