Customer who stole a pizza pays his debt - 13 years later

A restaurant owner got a welcome surprise this week when a letter containing some money unknowingly owed to him arrived in the post.

In the letter, the writer explains that, 13 years ago, they had been in a difficult financial situation. So they wrote a cheque at the pizza place, aware that it would bounce:

'Back in 2002 I bounced a cheque at your pizza shop.I was going through a very difficult time financially and was at the end of my rope.
