Ellen tweets praise for Colin Farrell’s marriage equality speech

Colin Farrell appeared on the very first Claire Byrne Live on Monday night to weigh in on the marriage equality debate.

The Irish actor eloquently spoke about the struggles his brother Eamon - who is gay and happily married - faced growing up in Ireland. He now lives in Canada.

In the interview, Colin said he supports marriage equality "with every fibre of my being".
