The sweet, new Apple Christmas ad is determined to make you cry

Christmas is supposed to be a time of joy but it does seem like all the recent Christmas ads are determined to make us cry. Mostly, in a good way.

The latest festive tearjerker comes from Apple and it features a young woman discovering an old vinyl recording by her grandmother to her sweetheart.

Using all Apple products (of course), she manages to create a thoughtful, touching present for her granny that will almost definitely make you tear up - even if you're determined not to be taken in by a cynical, corporate marketing ploy.
