Six-year-old’s letter changes complete series of books

A little girl from California got upset during one of her visits to her local library earlier this year.

Parker Dains, who was six at the time, was browsing through a book about insects when she turned to the back and found it was part of a series called the 'Biggest Baddest Books for Boys'.

Parker was very unhappy that the publishers thought to aim it at boys only, saying: "I was like, 'What the?' I said, 'Dad we have to do something quickly.'"
