A very special egg will arrive at Fota Wildlife Park tomorrow. This weekend only, visitors to the park will be able to see the giant interactive Furby Boom Egg and, using an augmented reality app, see inside the magical Furby world and watch the baby Furbling as it grows. The event marks the arrival of the new Furby Boom, €68.99, age 6+, in toy stores. Building on the success of its predecessor which was a Christmas best-seller in 2012, the Furby Boom comes with a free app, allowing kids to interact digitally with their Furby and hatch digital Furbling friends. www.fotawildlife.ie

Swimmer’s headband
