The Star Burst clock is retro-inspired

1. Modern Digs: This site is, well, modern. They source new products and designs - but they emphasis that price is important.

It depends on your budget, I guess, but in general the prices don’t seem too extravagant. It is useful to click on to get an idea of how thing fuse together - “marrying comfort and your sense of style”. The site is beautifully designed and easy to navigate. The accessories tab is my favourite, especially the clocks.

2. Decoholic: This is a really nice site, with ideas pulled from all over the place to inspire and motivate. Every room of the house is featured but the kids’ ones caught my eye. There are 18 Cool Boys’ Bedroom Ideas or, if you prefer your design to be more whimsical, click on Addison’s Wonderland Amazing Children’s Bedding and Decor. The Kidropolis ideas are fairly jaw-dropping too. It’s a really well-put together site, overall, definitely worth a look.

3. Afflante Design: Concepts and ideas - all neatly packaged in this site, its focus is not just on interiors but also architecture, fashion, art, design and exhibitions. Some super cool stuff on here - one example - The Bubble Building - a pavilion made entirely of soap bubbles and an installation that occupied a public square in Rotterdam for two weeks for the ZigZagCity architecture festival. The clean up must have been a doddle.
