A woman died early yesterday following injuries she received in a car crash in Co Cork.

Amanda O’Flaherty, 26, was critically injured only a couple of miles from her home after her blue Mazda 121 collided with a red 4x4 on the “back road” into Cobh.

The crash happened at around 5pm on Saturday.
