Following its performance in areas of climate change, forests and water security, Kerry Group has been recognised as a global leader.
The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) has recognised Kerry as a global leader across the three categories based on the company’s strong environmental commitments and performance under its ‘Beyond the Horizon’ strategy.
CDP is a global non-profit that runs the world’s only independent environmental disclosure system for companies, capital markets, cities, states and regions to manage their environmental impacts.
Kerry achieved an ‘A’ rating for climate change, the highest score available, placing the company among the top 4% of companies assessed globally by CDP.
This was combined with leadership-level ratings for both forests and water security, demonstrating continued progress in managing these issues across Kerry’s operations and wider value chain.
Group head of sustainability at Kerry Juan Aguiriano said: “This recognition from CDP is an important validation of the progress we are making across our climate, water and deforestation-free commitments.”

Under Kerry’s ‘Better for Planet’ commitments, the company has set targets to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 and achieve net zero before 2050, with both near- and long-term goals validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
Kerry has also established water stewardship targets and is committed to sourcing key raw materials responsibly to prevent further forest loss.
Mr Aguiriano said: “It reflects our continued focus on embedding sustainability into how we operate and innovate, as we work towards our ambition to reach over two billion people with sustainable nutrition solutions by 2030.”
