On Wednesday, September 17, a 32.7-acre holding was successfully sold at auction by Gorey-based Quinn Property.
The farm in question is at Castlemacadam, near Avoca in Co Wicklow. A neat piece of quality grassland set between woodland and with a generous length of road frontage, the holding was naturally divided by the Dublin-Rosslare railway line, under which an underpass runs, linking the fields.
