Cattle kill up by 900 head but still 10,000 back on 2024
There is still plenty of demand for the well-fleshed cows.
A few more cattle coming through the system appear to be enough to relieve the pressure of low intake on the factories as they proceed to cut another slice off their quotes for this week.
Across the main categories, the factory quotes for this week have been reduced by a further 10c/kg in a continuation of the downward pressure on prices since the beginning of this month.
