24.5-acre Waterford holding due for July auction

The Co. Waterford farm has a minor public road separating a small section of the lands to the east.
A 24.5-acre farm is on the market with Waterford City-based Purcell Properties, but with interest building, the agents and owners have now decided to go for a public auction.
The holding is at Ballyadam, about four kilometres inland from Waterford’s copper coast in a much sought-after area for agricultural land.
Given the location of this property, the next owners may even be thinking in terms of long-term potential for building a house. For now, however, the property is of purely agricultural value.
"With just a minor public road separating a small section of the lands to the east, it’s essentially all in one block and all in grass.
“We’re delighted to bring this superb holding of agricultural land to the market,” says selling agent Conor Purcell.
“The lands are currently laid in grass. They’ve been maintained to a particularly high standard and they’re of excellent quality.”
Fenor village lies under 2km away. Tramore is 6km to the east and Waterford City is just 15km away.
The auction is scheduled for Thursday, July 24, at Purcell Properties’ offices on High Street, Waterford, with a price guide of €300,000 (€12,000/acre).
