Another 10c/kg added to lamb prices
Suppliers to the factories are reporting that, in general, 740-750c/kg is being paid this week, with some reports of 760-765c/kg for larger numbers and well-fleshed lambs to offer.
Lamb prices at the factories are continuing to move upwards ahead of the Christmas market, which looks like delivering a good return to producers this year.
Another 10c/kg has been added to most of the quoted prices for lambs this week amid plenty of competition between the processors to secure sufficient intake to meet their requirements.
