The decline in the breeding flock has resulted in lower numbers of lambs available for the processors.

There is plenty of interest from the factories in lambs, but they are holding a tight grip on resisting any increase in the prices.

Another week with trade reported to be steady at unchanged prices from the factories for the lambs, which are in demand, with the factory intake believed to be tight.
