Competition for supplies keeps lamb prices stable
The push for suppliers is reported to be leading to a bit more competition between the processors to the benefit of the producers.
The quoted prices for the lambs at the factories are steady at most centres for this week, with the majority of the processing centres anxious to get supplies.
There are, however, variations opening wider between the individual factories as some appear to be willing to pay the extra to get the required level of supply through their gates.
