In the 12 months to April 2024, total agricultural input prices dropped by 12.6%, while agricultural output prices were down by 0.2% over the same period.

Cereals suffered a price drop of 31.4% in the 12 months to April 2024, latest CSO figures show.

Industrial and forage crop prices also dropped by 26.4%, while increases were recorded in potatoes (73.6%) and vegetables (11.7%).
