The weekly intake at the plants continues to run between 30,000 and 31,000 head which is being considered tight, but the processors are holding out that there is no pressure with weaker market demand.

Beef finishers are sensing a bit more interest from processors sourcing cattle this week as a sign that the pressure on the factories is beginning to squeeze them on filling their orders for the markets.

The weekly intake at the plants continues to run between 30,000 and 31,000 head which is being considered tight, but the processors are holding out that there is no pressure with market demand weak and the returns tough.
