As spring lamb supplies continue to increase, the reliance on hoggets has gradually weakened.

Lamb prices at the factories is showing some hardening this week with stronger demand from the processors for supplies being a positive for the trade.

While most of the plants have maintained their quotes at last week's level, the suppliers are reporting up to 10c/kg more on offer in some areas of the country.
