75-acre quality Cork holding likely to sell in lots

A substantially sized 75-acre holding, including a superb dwelling, is new to the market with Blarney-based auctioneer Dan Fleming.
The property is located in the townland of Glandine, close to the vibrant village of Bweeng, Co Cork, 15km southwest of Mallow and 22km from Blarney. Being only a half an hour or so from Cork City is another distinct advantage for this holding, which is likely to sell in lots.
The suggested lots are:
- Lot 1 of 41 acres of land above the road;
- Lot 2 containing the house and yard on 10 acres (with an additional option for the house on its own on 1.6 acres);
- Lot 3 containing a 15-acre field;
- Lot 4, being an eight-acre field separate from the rest of the land.
The residence is of exceptional quality and, given the property’s location, is very likely to be of strong enough interest so as to sell of its own accord. Accommodation includes an entrance hall, kitchen, dining area, family area, utility room, breakfast area, living room and five bedrooms.
The land, however, is of very good quality, according to the selling agent and there is a very good range of outbuildings.
“The land is all in grass,” said Dan, who says that there have been a good number of enquiries so far.
Assuming that the house will be sold separately, land in this area of similar quality has been making between €10,000 and €15,000 per acre. This holding should fetch a price within that range.
